Here are a bunch of ideas for party food and decorations to fit a Mulan themed party or ninja party on a budget.
Food for a Mulan party can be so beautiful! Turn all you food into rolled up delights. Slice them to give it a sushi look. My hubby would love all of the food to be sushi, but the kids and I prefer the Rice Krispie and candy sushi.
Decorating your space will really enhance your party! To stay within a lower budget, make your own decorations.
I have the monthly subscription to Cricut Design space. It gives me a lot of images to work with rather than cleaning them up from clipart I find online. You can use any image you have. I found this awesome Asian Komodo building for my Mulan party on design space.
I enlarged it in design space. I used the slicing tool and a rectangle shape to cut the the image into smaller cuts that fit the 12×24 mat. Then I glued the cuts onto a white poster board.
Use what you have. I covered up my old fence with these plastic table clothes and paper decorations. The cobble stone backdrop was the most expensive part of the whole design. It is a thicker plastic and therefore reusable. Unlike the plastic table clothes. Those don’t hold up to any tape at all.
Packing tape will hold to the fence the best, but for any smaller items being attached, use clear office tape.
Here is the oncoming army at the Mulan party. It could be for any party that your guests need to battle the bad guys. Cricut design space is where I got the image. I taped them to skewers and stuck them in the ground.
The image here was found at design space for the Cricut. The machine made cutting my army out really quick.
