Who says delicious can’t be simple? This is my favorite homemade chocolate cupcake frosting recipe. It’s fast, delicious and easy to make. It goes well with a vanilla or chocolate cupcake. For extra appeal, try adding a fresh raspberry, strawberry or cherry instead of sprinkles. It will look and taste delicious.
Chocolate Frosting (frosts 12 cupcakes)
1 ounce unsweetened chocolate
½ c. milk chocolate
1 c. confectioners sugar
1 ½ Tbsp. hot water
Melt chocolate and butter over low heat until melted. Add half of the confectioners sugar, then the hot water, and the last half of the confectioners sugar. Frost cooled cupcakes immediately.
